Low-cost men’s therapy group in Nottingham City Centre

If you’ve found your way here, you’re probably concerned about something and may be wondering whether group therapy could help.

Perhaps some of these questions feel familiar:

• Are there patterns which keep repeating in your life or relationships?

• Do you find yourself reacting in ways you don’t fully understand?

• Do you often feel like you’re the one who has to stay steady for everyone else?

Being a man shapes how we deal with things. Many of us grow up learning to cope quietly, not make a fuss, and work things out on our own. Strength and independence are valuable, but they can sometimes make things lonely when you’re struggling.

But there’s no single way of being a man. We all come with different experiences, backgrounds and ways of seeing the world, and you’ll be welcome whatever your background or how you see yourself.

What this group is

Our Men's Therapy Group offers a chance to explore the experiences, relationships and patterns that shape how things happen and how they feel in your life.

The group offers a safe, respectful and confidential space where a small number of men meet regularly with me as a trained therapist. By talking about what’s happening in their lives, and reflecting together on the patterns that emerge, they support one another to understand their reactions, relationships and experiences more clearly.

Group Process

This group is meant to feel open and conversational, each session grows out of the conversations in the room, shaped by what you bring and are curious about exploring further. This allows the group to stay flexible and responsive, supporting genuine connection, shared reflection and learning.

Cost and duration

• The group will run for 30 weekly sessions

• Each session will be 90 minutes

• Sessions will take place on Monday evenings at 6:15pm

• Cost will be £60 per month (£40 for those on benefits)

Practical details

• It’s a small, consistent group (the same 4–8 men throughout)

• Regular weekly sessions

• Run through NCS in Nottingham city centre at a low cost

Get in touch

If the idea makes you even a little curious, the next step is simply to get in touch with me for a short exploratory conversation.

I’ll give you some more detail and answer any questions you have, so you can decide whether the group might feel right for you.

Or if you feel ready to proceed, please just click on the ‘Apply for group therapy’ button below and I’ll be in touch with next steps.
