Art Therapy

At Nottingham Counselling Services (NCS), we offer specialist creative therapy for individuals seeking the unique benefits of arts-based therapeutic interventions. Our creative therapy program provides a safe and supportive environment for those looking to explore their thoughts and emotions through creative expression. Through art creative therapy can help individuals communicate feelings that may be difficult to express in words, fostering personal insight, emotional healing, and growth.

Our experienced therapists use creative techniques tailored to meet each client's needs, helping them to navigate challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, or life transitions. We believe that creative therapies can unlock new ways of thinking, promote self-awareness, and build resilience, providing a transformative outlet for emotional release and healing.

At NCS, we are dedicated to supporting your journey toward mental well-being in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space. Whether you're a seasoned artist or completely new to creative expression, our therapy sessions are designed to meet you where you are, helping you tap into your inner creativity to gain new perspectives and improve your overall well-being. Discover the power of creative therapy with NCS today.

Creative therapy at Nottingham Counselling Services is subsidised to help us offer a low-cost service. We operate on a sliding scale based on affordability and are currently offering a therapy programme for up to 1 year for anyone over the age of 16.

For those with a personal income below £12,000 or in receipt of benefits, the sessions are available at a subsidised rate of £25 per session, with an assessment fee of £35. For those with a personal income above £13,000, the cost is £35 per session, with an initial assessment fee of £45.
