As you may have seen, last year we were selected by the Co-op as one of their local good causes. We were delighted to receive a grand total of £1795.88 towards our Surviving Abuse Positively project from the Local Community Fund – all raised by Co-op members!

We would like to thank everybody who supported NCS through Co-op Local Causes – the money you raised has allowed us to provide a discrete support service for adult survivors of sexual abuse. The Surviving Abuse Positively project is ongoing and referrals have almost doubled in the past 12 months, with approximately 50% of our clients currently making use of this service.

In order to make this service sustainable, we need continued funding and support. Due to financial circumstances the majority of survivors pay the minimum contribution per session (£15), where they would be paying £50 - £100 to access private therapy.

If you are able, please consider supporting our work on this project by donating, fundraising or supporting us through volunteering – you can help support mental health and wellbeing in the local community!
