TRUSTEES

The NCS is an expanding organisation, with a 5 Year Strategic Plan (2009 - 2014). We wish to recruit four new members to join our current four Trustees and complement our seven-strong Executive Committee . We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse Board of Trustees, and welcome applications from all sections of the community.

We need people that can help direct NCS towards achieving its vision of becoming a modern 21st Century counselling provider and ensure the organisation is effectively managed. You will need to be able to make a commitment to NCS and devote the necessary time, independent judgement, have the ability to think strategically and creatively as well as having a willingness to speak your mind. 

We would, ideally welcome individuals with experience and skills in one or more of the following areas: community relations, marketing, accounting, Health and Safety, equal opportunities and diversity, personnel management, public relations, fundraising, IT voluntary or public sector policy, health and safety, etc.

The Trustees and Executive Committee meet approximately every 6 weeks usually Tuesdays evening from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm

These positions are unpaid but you may claim reasonable out of pocket expenses.
