The assessment meeting

After receiving your form, you will be invited in to attend an assessment meeting at a time that is convenient to you. 

We usually offer you this appointment within three-four weeks of receiving your form.

This meeting is a very important part of the service we offer. The assessment usually lasts for about one and a half hour and will enable you to find out more about the counselling groups we run.  You will also be able to meet with and ask questions of the two therapists who run the counselling groups

They will also be able to talk with you about other types of counselling if you decide that coming into group counselling isn’t the right thing for you right now.
