Group counselling

We run two different kinds of counselling groups through the Sexual Abuse Project. 

• The short term counselling group runs for two hours on a Monday morning and lasts for 10 weeks.
• The ongoing counselling group runs for 1½ hours on a Wednesday morning.  Women joining this group can have up to 18 months of group therapy.

Both counselling groups are for women only and there is only ever a maximum of eight women (plus the two women therapists) in each session.

Each group is facilitated by two professional women therapists who are experienced in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and working in groups.
