Self description:

I am a BACP Senior Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and a clinical supervisor. I have post-graduate diploma in Person-Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy and Person-Centred Supervision. I have worked in a range of organisations, including workplace counselling services, Employee Assistance Programmes, in a local college, a service for young people, the Carers Federation and in private practice. I work in either short-term, time limited ways or with more open-ended/long term contracts.

In counselling I seek to provide an opportunity for clients to explore the issues they bring, to understand their situations better, find answers, make changes or come to terms with the circumstances in which they find themselves. I respect decisions and choices made with recognition of the different context (social, cultural and personal) within which we all live our lives. I work hard with clients to help them find a way forward that feels right for them.
